Sew a Zippered Tote Bag Workshop

Class Description

Enjoy the Zippered Tote Bag Workshop at Sew Hope! This lined tote bag with a recessed zipper allows you to store EVERYTHING and is great for travel, to give as a gift or to carry around as you run errands. In this class you will learn how to insert a zipper, add a lining and work with interfacing to give your bag structure. If you are new to sewing, no worries - we will show you how to make your bag with step-by-step instructions. Everyone will leave with their custom tote bag by the end of the class. Upon registration, you will receive an email with fabric swatches to choose from for your tote bag. All supplies and notions are included in this class. Prior sewing experience is required for this class. You should feel comfortable threading a sewing machine, winding a bobbin, and sewing 1/2 inch seam allowances. Class Date: Saturday, October 26th | 12PM - 4PM or Saturday, November 30th | 12PM - 4PM Cost: $69 *Students that are 15 minutes or later to class may be refused entry by the instructor and will forfeit that class. We do this to ensure minimal interruption in our classes. Please be courteous to our instructors and to your fellow sewing classmates by arriving to class on time. Registration & Payment: Payment is required upon class registration. Guests, children and pets are not permitted during class. Service dogs are welcome, please inform us in advance. For any special assistance requirements, please notify us in advance so we can assist you. Students may arrive 10-15 minutes early to set up for class. Classes will begin promptly. Refund Policy: If Sew Hope cancels a class due to low attendance you may opt for a full refund or credit. For student initiated cancellations, a full class refund if cancelled 5 days before the scheduled class. A credit is issued for cancellations 2-4 days prior to your class. No refund or credit is given for cancellations within one day of class. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds
